ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I am doing the Sohc Vtec head swap. True it really isn't worth it for power but it is different. Which is my goal.

You will need f22b1 head gasket
          94-97 throttle cable
          94-97 thermostat housing
          94-97water pipe
          94-97 header with custom downpipe
          94-97 ex timing belt
POA ecu (manual or auto depending on your setup
          f22b1 or F23a intake manifold
I read somewhere that a h22/23 throttle body can be used (not sure if true though)
          Valve cover
          sparkplug wires
lengthen fuel line from the fuel filter
          lengthen return line
The driver side mount needs to be shaved to keep the timing belt from hitting
The power steering pump you have two options:
1: use the f22b PS pump and bracket and cut that line and your line and
          splice them together some how
2: (my preference) cut off the bracket where the hole furthest to the left
(if looking at the front of the motor) will no longer be used and clear the
          exhaust manifold.
Plug the water hole in the very front of the head
Change the plug so that you can use the map sensor on the TB
Swap pins A6 and A11 at the ECU
Add vtec solenoid and pressure switch wires.
If you have a F22a6 you will either have to remove the oil cooler or build a custom water tube (that is you choice).

It is kinda of a lot of work for no real gains. Sure you will be different, and in my opinon they sound a lot meaner than A6 head. This Swap is alot of work for almost nothing. You need to decide if this is what you want and is it worth it to you. I have plans for mine that extend from different but that is down the road, quite a long way too but be prepared because the POA base map creates quite a nutless mofo. But the fuel mileage is great!!!!

Hope this answers your questions. Enjoy. If you need help i will be glad to walk you through this and help in anyway i can. I have done two of these and i'm going on my third.
