ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    h23 head with f22 block

ok so im new to the accord and all. and i hear that you can put a h23 head on my stock f22 block? is this correct. if so could i put a h22 head on my stock block?

I think you can, but I don't think it's as straight forward as the H23 swap. Also from what I've read it's not really worth it, as far as hp gains go I think it's around the same as the H23 head swap for more money. Plus you have to think about the fact that you're talking about putting a head that's built for high revving, high compression on a block that has a low compression that's not built for high revs.

Either the F20b or the H22, more people are going to say the H22 tho. I don't know what the hp rating for the F20b is but the H22 is around 200 at the crank, there's a sticky in the swaps forum that has the info on the engines that can be swapped in.

              non-vtec hp > vtec hp.

as far as the reasoning behind that, i really dont know why. ive driven a h22 swapped coupe and it just changes noise.

what i like is the Toda Vtec killer cams, now those are very nice.

i think there is a way to get carb smog and bar certigied for the dmv for jdm engines in cali now. it took some time but its available. I say swap in the H23 Head thas legal safe cheap and very nice if you want to add na hp. Its essentially a F22B JDM swap with out the nicer head and nicer cams and nicer intake manifold ah what do i kno.
