ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    JDM Headlights

hey, well I'm eager to get my hands on a pair of JDM one-piece headlights, but I've heard and read around that JDM heads (1or2 piece) have the lights directed to the left, and here in the US that means oncoming traffic. Is this change of lighting direction very obvious that it might get us in trouble or makes driving at a hastle, if so, is there a way to "fix" it? TIA

People still use it just aim it differently. Its mostly a one piece thing for 4th gens. Havent seen any 2 piece but I hear there are some pretty rare. Most people opt for the 1. I know the 5th gen has a one and a 2 piece design.

Who cares if it blinds other people, as long as it looks cool?

I have never adjusted the beam on mine, lol.

There are plenty of 2 piece JDM headlights. The only difference, besides the aim, is the lack of nipples. They aren't all that rare, just not as popular... since the design isn't significantly different from USDM ones.

Thanks for all the input guys , but is the view significantly diffirent for the driver at night?, like they won't illuminate the street/freeway/hazard signs on the right, thanks again.

Here is a pic of my JDM 2 pieces.

                  Back view of corner light.

They do look pretty damn close to USDM. Except the corner light housing is attached to the housing as you can tell.

The "nipples" on the US lights are for headlight aimers. I guess the jap guys are too smart to aim them the way we do
