ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Hello people ,

Any of you guys running or experienced Megan Racing coilover sleeves?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Megan...2em118Q2el1247

Does saying "egay" make you cool? I think it makes you sound like an idiot.

Anyway, most coilover sleeves are not very good in terms of performance. They're a cheap way to have an adjustable suspension. Megan stuff is decent, and it's probably better than the no-name stuff... but I'd invest in real coilovers, or just get springs.

I see , thanks for the info.. So If I wanted the low look I'd probably go for Sprint springs then.

Then if it's not all that important to you, could you refrain from doing so? You don't need to sound like a homophobe every time you talk about poorly made products purchased from an auction website. And honestly, it's against the rules to do so anyway.

Yeah, some good low springs would be a better option. Coilovers are really only worth the money when they're in a full system... and the ones worth owning usually start around $650.

If you go low, get new shocks. KYB GR2 or Tokico HP (blues) are decent cheap ones that seem to be able to hold up to a drop. Don't slam it on stock shocks, or you'll blow them out (which makes for a very uncomfortable and dangerous ride)

If you have an extra 100 dollars, people on E-Bay are selling Ground Control Coilover sleeves. MUCH better in my opinion. They implement Eibach springs, and therefore the rates are much better, no bouncy cheapo coilovers. Thats where i got mine used for only 165. I paired these up w/ KYB AGX's and the ride is really smooth. You won't be dissapointed running this set-up. I have been for over 2 years w/ no problems.
