ok i know what moat of the cb7's are about but is the ex-r supposed to be the accord type r of the cb's or something? i know the crx si-r and civic si-rII were early type r's so was that what the ex-r's were as well? and if so why didn't they have vtec? the other cars had twin cam vtecs in them... hmmm interesting....

i think the difference between the ex and ex-r up here is...
ex-r = sunroof + A6 motor
ex = no sunroof + A4 motor
also we don't have dx, lx is the base model

haha my family owns all of them, its retarded.
i'll take a closer look tomorrow see if i see anything else but im pretty sure thats it.

I have a Canadian EX and my friend has an EX-R. some differences are EX-R has sunroof, fog lights, A6 motor...umm thats all that I noticed.

exr either has a4 or a6 with or without disc brakes (91 newer exr's were only ones to get the disc brakes and very vew at that!)
Most auto exr loaded with ac sunroof power mirrors and upgrade stereo with external amp have disc brakes, a6 motor and fold down arm rest in back seat! I have had a lot of these models lol except SE!
And FYI I thought all models could come with sunroof, I am noit sure though!

Whoever said that the EX-R is the same as the US EX is correct. The EX (Canadian) is the same as the US LX, and therefore will have no sunroof, disc brakes, or F22A6 (it SHOULD have the F22A1, though the A4 is reported to be in some recently).
The 90-91 EX-R doesn't have the A6 or rear discs because the US EX did not have those things either.
EX and LX get confusing. Always be sure to specify if you're Canadian or not when asking technical questions. That stuff matters.

LOL, but on the contrary, I have an EXR with sunroof and disc brakes and A6 motor, all stock, And it is a 1991! Also JHM vin! So maybe the 1HG models from US plant didnt? Whatever!
