ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I've run some Ecsta's as well, and I liked them a lot, but they seemed to wear out for be pretty fast.
Right now I have some BFG g-force Sports, and they are very grippy, but the sidewalls are a little soft, so I feel a bit of body roll from them (I have stock tire size. Probably wouldn't notice it if I had low-pros). They also wear semi fast, but I expected that from them cause of the 320 rating.
I'm looking around at what I'm going to try next. I usually just go to tirerack.com and look that the high performance All season catagory, and then read reviews of what people thought.1992 Prelude S w/swapped H22A

Neogen are good, but really $$$
i race my accord on Nelson Ledges, which has 13 turns in 2 miles. I tried Fuzion ZR-i's and they have an amazing side wall, the tire went completly molten and wore GREAT... BUT tire PSI is more important than the tire, it doesn't matter who made the tire! if you dont have the right pressure for your driving style and car set up than you have a snowballs chance in hell of using the full grip of the tires.
Also, road course racing will trash streets with-in a few weekend warrior runs... AUTOX will do it even quicker... so your decision wont be long lived.
- Another important note, if you just want to try it and you have another set of rims, go to a race track holding SCCA events and snag some qualifying tires from one of the tire places. they have to pay to get rid of them so its easier to give them away. Most racers during practice qualifying/ qualifying runs wont leave a tire on long because they are only interested in the best times, so you can have 1-2 more heat cycles left, which for a weekend warrior could be a month+... meaning you scored RACE SLICKS for free, i have got hoosiers, khumos, and michillens before, just look for some meaty ones that are close to an even ware
if you want to see the track i am talking about its on the home page Nelson Ledges Road Course

BFG G-Force Sports. That's what I run in a low pro 215/45r17. Its a good all around tire, loads of grip and quiet on the highway. It has very predictable handling, won't suprise you when you really drive hard.

You need to be specific about where you'll be racing, when you'll be racing, what circuits you plan on competing in, and in what condition. No single tire is going to be good for everything. A real racing tire, anything that will be competitive, will not be street legal. Anything that is street legal will not be a real racing tire.
Most circuit races have a specific tire requirement anyway. You can't choose which tires you want to run.

Going by the OP's previous posts, I'm sure his "road racing" involves public roads... If that's true, I recommend Nikes... Walk. We don't need more idiots on the roads.
If he really IS looking into real road racing, on a track, then none of those street tires you guys are recommending will hold up. Perhaps they'd be fun enough for an open track day for solo racing, but they're not going to work in competition (and probably wouldn't even be allowed.)
Check into the Nitto NT555R II Extreme. That is a true competition tire.
