ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    new accord owner, trouble!

okay i'm a 3rd gen prelude owner (i have an 88 SI 4WS) and i just got another baby to add to my honda collection... a 90 accord LX coupe, 5 speed, 128K. okay shape, runs and drives okay. it has working A/C and has a clock cover! haha (maybe thats not that big of a deal to accord owners though, us prelude guys always have missing clock covers)

i'm having some issues with it though. my power mirrors don't work. i've checked the fuse, it's fine. my taillights don't work except for the left far one. the brake light warning lamp is illuminated on the dash. i've checked the fuse, it's fine, and i replaced the bulbs and they still don't work.

and whenever i use my blinkers, instead of the blinker light flashing green on the dash, both of them dimly flash green (like the hazards are on) but the blinkers work fine outside of the car.

and the dome light doesn't turn on when i open the car door. tried messing with the sensor tab thing in the door jamb, doesn't do anything.

assistance/ideas would be greatly appreciated... thanks guys

kinda sounds like a bad ground somewhere. there are a few different systems specifically lighting that are all grounded in a few different places. check those little offwhite/yellow ground boxes in the engine bay that are mounted on the left and right fenders about 5 inches back of the headlight and see if they are grounded propperly.

definetly sounds wierd. with that many things wrong must be sumptin major. start with tha basics. check all fuses, fuse box in the engine compartment. main fuse links. make sure you have all grounds to your battery hooked up, tranmission ground, BODY GROUND for sure check that one.

As for the Tailights? I had the same issue.

I would say look at the little brown or black box that the wires plug into. Mine was fried so I had to get another one. After replacing that all of my tail/brake lights worked.

        Little box is #28-29

My CB7 has a clock cover, so I guess I'm lucky, but it is attached with blu-tac!

I'm lousy at electrics, so I won't even attempt to diagnose your elecrtical woes, sorry!
