So my 91' Accord isn't getting the MPG it should be. I get about a little over 200 miles a tank, and sometimes worse. I don't drive crazy, very moderate in my opinion, but I don't do highway driving much. Some stop and go, but moderate. My cousin has a 90' Ex and he gets over 300 easily. So what should I check. I've check air filter, tire pressure etc. I want to replace the fuel filter, but where is it located? a pic would be appreciated.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

on my first CB that i took, on the drive home(all Highway) i got 33-34mpg the whole way. Thats over 500 per tank. I could've went farther, but i didnt know how the gauge worked n all and i didnt want to risk it.
This was also will me driving a constant 80-90 mph.

I get 400 miles to a tank with my H22, about 50/50 city and highway... not all light-footed, either. The head is also damaged (damaged sparkplug threads in 1 and 3).
When you add performance mods, you often run rich. If you have an intake, header, or exhaust system on there (aftermarket stuff, obviously) you've probably decreased your mileage. The ECU sees more airflow and dumps more fuel. If you want to fix it, your best bet is to get the ECU tuned, which isn't cheap... or learn to do it yourself. Not many people here tune basic NA F22As. It's all H22, F22B, H23, or turbo.

what do you guys consider a tank? Like top it off, and drive until the light comes on? That's what I figure a tank would be. More than likely you don't drive until you break down and then look at your tripometer. Just because my light doesn't go on when I'm real low on gas (found out the hard way ), so i can only guesstimate how many miles per gallon I'm getting.
