Whats a good engine that can be a daily driver but still have the hp?

h22 ...its bolts right in easy swap or some also some like the F20A both solid motors for HP and daily driver

h23, for the price you cant beat it, with basic bolt-ons and tuned, and cams, you can beat a lightly modded h22, and the h23 are very torquey

The reason i chose to do a h22 is that before vtec it is basically a f22 with the same gas mileage. You shouldnt be hitting vtec Daily Driving it.

not to thread jack but....my sister boyfriend came by weds so i could put his stero system in...i poped the hood and he had a vtec auto trans....all stock ...is this a f20a?

I think he meant that the engine was vtec and that it was an automatic

whoops i forgot to put it was a 1998 Accord 6th generation ..it was a vtec

All sixth gens are equipped with the vtec f23a1 as mentioned. People have swapped it but havent gotten it to run right. A lot of people use the block for the G23 frank swap.
