ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Doubtful considering all F22aX are NON-vtec.... You can get rebuilt ones, with performance modifications, but thats about it (that i know of anyways)

You need to upgrade a hella lot more than just throwing those on. Those are probably equivalent to Bisi Stage 3 which is what Cisco is running in his white project. Also Toda mostly specializes in B and K series motors.

Just so you know, VTEC-killer cams just eliminate the VTEC function; in essence making it non-VTEC.

If you look at the kit; it eliminates VTEC completely. What you're referring to is just running the high cam? Well the Killer camshafts lack the mid VTEC lobe; and instead the normal lobes are big. This help reduces rotational and reciprocating mass(lighter rockers can be used and less mass on the camshaft). I guess, to a certain extent, probably helps increase oil pressure around the head(probably negligible).

Make what work in what? If you're talking about putting VTEC Killer cams in a non-VTEC head, probably not(for the same head setup; DOHC or SOHC). I believe the VTEC camshaft has different journal sizes.

Those VTEC Killer camshafts are equivalent to putting a big cam in a non-VTEC engine.

Whether it's overkill or not depends on how much power you're looking for and driveability.

thoughs rockers are still lifting higher than stock arent they??? i would think that would mean it was just eliminating the wild lobes in VTEC at high RPM's and lifting higher throughout the powerband. if that where the case ecspecially on a SOHC engine it would seem like you would just be DUMPING gas.... without other MAJOR! mods. Roller Rockers do the same thing.... bypass the need for VTEC.
                              bet they sound beastly though!
