ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Radiator Fans

My Radiator Fans don't kick on at all. I also noticed the white fluid container to the left of the radiator by the battery has no fluid at all in it, is that right? Could it just be a fuse that's preventing the fans from coming on?

ok put some water in the revsivor tank, and open the fuse box on top. I no its a #15 fuse. LOOK on box, says FAN. Check it out

this happened to one of my fans and it was the motor it was no big deal to change and i got the motor at the junkyard for dirt so if its not the fuse you should check out the motor you can test the motor easy by taking it out and putting a - and + wire directly to ur battery that could also help u figure out if its in the wiring to the fans cause if u change the fuse and it dosent work but you hook it directly to ur bat. and it does its in ur wiring

A quick way to diagnose the fans is to turn on the AC and both fans should come on or if you want you can directly jump the fan and it should come on. If it doesnt turn on with those methods could be a bad fan. Might wanna check the fan switch also could be bad. Another thing is that the fan wont kick on until your engine reads 220 I think or something like that. Your engine overheating? If its not I wouldnt worry about it. And as mentioned check your coolant level. The reservoir is usually partially full.

disconnect the fan switch connector at the t stat housing, use a paper clip and jump those two connectors together, the fans should come on. if it does, then you got a bad thermoswitch. if it doesn't, well, then get back to us and we'll give you more info.
