ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

if u have the funds for the h22 i say get it reason being is that if u really want to do performance its the best platform to start with IMO it has a great aftermarket supply for either all motor or boost which ever and y not start with as much horses as u can get on the other hand i might be a little pron to the h22 cause i have one

Talk to LoDollar92LX. He's running boosted and putting 526hp to the ground.~If everybody you knew jumped off a bridge...the bodies would pile high enough to break your fall if you jumped after them.~

H23 intake manifold, Delta cam, OBX/Megan Racing header. 140-150whp easy. Though going to the H22 is cool, especially how smooth and powerful it is up top. I don't know if I would buy an F22B DOHC/H23A unless my F22A was toast, and I couldn't afford an H22A

Originally posted by js593Thats all you want is to show them who is boss? Man, do that in style, stop your ride, do some suspension with a nice set of wheels, then do the motor. The F22 does have alot of aftermarket considering its a low output motor. You can acheive 200 HP out of these motors with bolt ons, however, if doing this kinda stuff to a F22AX you may need to accompany it with a rebuilt/upgraded tranny... take a look around the site, there is a ton of stuff on our cars, remember, the site was made for it :P
I haven't heard of f22 transmissions failing over 200 hp either.
But anyway, the h22/h23 battle has been going on for a while. Basically, what it comes down to is that both motors have a great deal of potential, but the h22 has a little bit higher starting hp while the h23 costs a decent amount less.
Whether you want to build the h23 with the money you saved buying it instead of the h22 or buy the h22 and have OEM Honda reliability and 200 claimed crank hp is up to you.
And, of course, the f22 is a great motor. It just takes a fair bit more work than dropping an h22 to get similar N/A horsepower numbers.
So yeah, figure out how much work and money you want to put into it. The f22a is great, but you'd have to spend a little more time and money into making it produce GSX-beating levels. The H23 is a nice all-around engine, especially for boost.
And I love my h22.

if your thinking about h22/h23 and you have the turbo parts go to this website http://jgenginedynamics.com/JGE%20main%20page.html
they sell these motors after doing MAD work to them. They claim that you can smoothly run 30psi after they do the work, and that they can handle up to 55psi. Just look all over that place, its all there
