ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

maybe look into redoing some internals if your planning on a big boost.... if your not going to boost over 8-10psi i would think you might be ok on stock internals.... i dont have a turbo myself but if i was going to do a boost setup i would want a H22 for starters then beef it up some and then get a big turbo and call it done

Please, Leave me some feeedback on my ride ^CLICK ^CLICK ^CLICK

so it is the same as the na dsm (46ge) you can only go with about 8 lbs of boost. the compression is the same on the 46get motor and i can run about 18 psi on the stock motor (when it was stock)

on a stock block with a good tune and a motor thats been taken care of you should be able to run at least 8-10psi. make sure the parts you get are of good quality and not the cheapist parts you can find. get some new(if needed or even if you have a doubt) axles. not aftermarket but some new ones. if you want to feel secure then get some aftermarket ones.

you said that you were new to boosting the f series? be sure to search a few threads up here. talk to the turbo people who have boosted the f-series motor. talk to Accord_R33. he's well known up here. Chessboxer(i think thats his screen name). he's got a great sleeper cb7. it doesnt even look like its boosted. fooled me.

be sure to ask ask ask. dont be afraid that a question is too stupid. most of the time, if you think that, its the most important question and very vital to your build

yeah. the DSM manifold fits on our motors but you have to redrill some of the holes i think. it wont just bolt up to it. ive been thinking about boosting my next car. ive been waiting to do it. with some people up here selling kits at like $400-800 and a dyno shop less than an hour away from me, id be tuned and ready to go with in a month.

the only thing i suggest would be to waint until you got the money to get the kit installed that day and have it tuned no more than 2 days following. but then again. you know about boosting motors
