ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It's not too bad. You will have to pull the dash loose to get it done. And remove your glove box. It's the black box closest to the door on the passenger side under the dash.

Not entirely true. You can remove the glovebox, the support for the glovebox, the 2 bolts on the side of the dash, and you can move it JUST enough that the blower motor will come out. Be careful when you do this tho, and its not cold, you might snap the dash in half. Make sure first that its just not the connector thats loose, that happened once before, and i just needed to plug it back in. the m otor is also strapped in with 2 straps, connecting it to the heater core, make sure these to back on, or you will have problems... Get a new one, not a junkyard one. I got VERY lucky and found one that was no more then a month old at the JY, reciept was in the glovebox LOL! Otherwise i would have went new, they all have a ticking noise which gets annoying (hence why you buy it new) The blower motor comes out in a massive casing, (usually black or white) you'll need 10MM socket for most of it, 8MM/7MM for some of the other ones. Prepare to take at least half the day off to do this. Took me 3 hours just to get mine out.

(also helps if you take out the passanger carpet, and remove the computer attached to the floor, gives alot more room to wiggle it out, and back in ( you may need to unplug it))
If you need any help, just ask as i still have this fresh on my mind :P

Let me tell you something. When you're telling someone how to do something for the VERY first time, and you add in a caveat like this....

It makes me think you're a fucking idiot. Especially when you say it trying to dispute what I just said. Whichi is easier, pulling six bolts out and getting the dash loose or removing it to replace it because you're too fucking lazy to do it right the first time?

Unfortunately PM's suffer a unknown disease called ERROR.

              Just knock it off.

The OP found his answer. He'll follow either suggestions and he'll post back for more Q's.
