ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    tps sensor

Just thought I would let everyone know that didnt. Omni power now makes brand new tps sensors for our cars so no more going to junk yards to pull a used one or buying a new throttle body to get a brand new one. Just thought that might help some people, I know its gonna help me im ordering one tomorrow.

Are they pre-calibrated, or will you have to do that yourself? 93twodoorLX has gotten pretty proficient at calibrating them (as well as removing the junkyard ones )

They dont look that hard to remove just a clip and 2 screws from what i saw...I dont know about calibration didnt even know you had to do that so thats a good question to which I do not have the answer. I've never done one all I thought you had to do was remove the old one and put on the new one guess I was way off.

Removing the old one is tough... the screws have no heads. The best way to do it is to get a hacksaw blade and create a notch for a flathead.

So you can just do that instead of having to get the whole throttle body? Will you be able to screw it back in fine after you get it out??

Looks as if they only have them for 03-05 Accords, unless I'm missing something.

TPS sensors are identical for just about all 90s Hondas (and maybe later as well). They don't give a year on the Civic/Integra ones, but I'm willing to bet that they'd work for us. The only one from the 90s that won't work is the sensor from the Vigor... because the g25a is a freakin weird engine!

Once it's out, the notched screws should work fine to go back in... or you may be able to find screws of a similar size and thread pitch to replace them.

It's not that complicated to calibrate it if it's not already set. You just need a multimeter and some patience, I believe! I've never done it, but from talking to 93twodoorLX, it was a lot easier than he expected when he first did it.
