ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

kinda hard 2nd gear when downshifting ?

    kinda hard 2nd gear

okay so when i accelerate from stop

it worked GREAT all gears without any trouble

but when im like in 3rd or 4th and want to put it in second it won't go in?

THE only way it goes in if you do the "clutch and put it in 2nd" FAST!!
    otherwise it won't go in

does it need grease or something somewhere?

transmission works good so i doubt it's that

any of ya experiencing the same

if you're downshifting try a little gas before grabbing second and letting off the clutch?

synchros probably, although a good, strong clutch will help usually. cold weather and thick tranny oil will also make it worse.

SYnchros = Synchronizers. You can try using pennzoil synchromesh to see if that helps. But usually if its bad enough the synchronizers are going bye bye and you will be required to either rebuild or get another trans. its a common problem in older honda manuals.

Get your friend to show you what needs grease. The shifter might need grease, but I doubt that's the cause of your troubles. Do you have a short shifter by any chance?

The H22 came in Preludes from 1992-2001.

Pennzoil (or GM) Synchromesh is a synthetic manual transmission fluid that can help with failing synchronizers. It goes in your transmission. You use a funnel to put it in the transmission. You use your hands to tip the bottle to pour out the fluid. You use money to pay for the fluid. You get money from a job, or mommy and daddy.

haha. So busy, and yet enough time to post up pictures of spoons.

Spoons are for feeding. You put food on them and then put them in your mouth. You remove the spoon before chewing so you don't hurt your teeth. Then you move your teeth around to mash up the food, and let it slide down your throat hole.
