okay so when i accelerate from stop

it worked GREAT all gears without any trouble

but when im like in 3rd or 4th and want to put it in second it won't go in?

THE only way it goes in if you do the "clutch and put it in 2nd" FAST!!
otherwise it won't go in

does it need grease or something somewhere?

transmission works good so i doubt it's that

if you're downshifting try a little gas before grabbing second and letting off the clutch?

yeah gas kinda helps but kinda grinds

synchros probably, although a good, strong clutch will help usually. cold weather and thick tranny oil will also make it worse.

SYnchros = Synchronizers. You can try using pennzoil synchromesh to see if that helps. But usually if its bad enough the synchronizers are going bye bye and you will be required to either rebuild or get another trans. its a common problem in older honda manuals.

Get your friend to show you what needs grease. The shifter might need grease, but I doubt that's the cause of your troubles. Do you have a short shifter by any chance?

The H22 came in Preludes from 1992-2001.

Pennzoil (or GM) Synchromesh is a synthetic manual transmission fluid that can help with failing synchronizers. It goes in your transmission. You use a funnel to put it in the transmission. Spoons are for feeding. You put food on them and then put them in your mouth. You remove the spoon before chewing so you don't hurt your teeth. Then you move your teeth around to mash up the food, and let it slide down your throat hole.
