ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Suspension set for $35, Is it a good deal ?

    Enlight me guys !
I bought at my local Junk yard, a set of 4 lowering and adjustable springs and shocks, for $35 bucks.
The make is aerospeed (I never heard about). They look sharp, clean and good. I am wondering if it's good and worth install in my cb. I am looking forward to put them on but I don't know if it's going to be all of that I am imagining.
I also got the 2 upper control arms (brand new!) for $14. Do you think altogether will change the driving experience a lot?
Next wednesday I will get the rear brake discs system for my cb. It's worth wait until I get everything to start working on it?

    Barrabas !!!

Short ram intake, rasonator, muffler change and 4-2-1 exaust for $25 from the Junky, arospeed coilover springs and ex-jarhead gold 15th Anniversary rims. More mods to come soon !

there are LOADS of threads and posts about NOT buying CHEAP priced parts.

Cheap price 90% equates to cheap quality.

However...this junk yard guy must not know anything...that's the only way you got those for that cheap.

I've heard of that brand but I have not used them so I don't know their quality.

I would ask...how many miles are on them, how old are they, how do you know they are for your year model accord, what happened to the car they came from?

Arospeed is a fairly well known brand. Need For Speed Underground features their parts. I've never liked them, though.

I just looked up the coilovers, and from what I can tell, everyone hates them. If you can get them for $35 for EVERYTHING, go for it... and sell them. They're not great, but they're worth more than $35! Get $200 for them, and put that towards a better setup.

As for people saying "don't buy cheap parts"... yeah, if I found some Volks in a junkyard for the usual junkyard price of $25 a wheel, I shouldn't buy them, right?

Don't buy cheap parts new. Buy good parts cheap!

                That's right !
I already get lots of good stuff for a cheap price At my favorite Junk yard. When you can pull it yourself, you always can have an idea on how the part you pull was conserved just by looking at the car you are pulling it from.

Install them. If they suck, pull them out and sell them. You'll either end up with a profit, or a suspension you like.

MY friend had them on his car it road harsh with stock shocks but he didnt care they handles well for lower quality parts , he kept em a year and then upgraded , I would say if u are on stock suspension use them til u can get something better its all about stepping stones , I mean my whole car was junk parts in my opinion til i ran into more money and now I willl not put anything cheap or low quality on my car , but i did the ebay muffler header ect then slowely replaced all that with Greddy and stuff of a higher quality , parts are not cheap use what u have and upgrade as time goes by something are worth using some are not weigh it out man if u know ur not going to be able to buy some suspension u will like settle for this for now take care of it later on but for now its a mod in my opinion ....

I say just install them, never heard of that brand or used anything of theirs before. Even though you got them pretty damn cheap. I would research the product before I bought them.

I couldn't research them becouse they were installed in a recent dumped CB7(R.I.P.). So I get a little afraid if I let it go at that time I could never find another one like that.

Anyway, I always going to be looking for it now so if I find, I can make some $$$
