Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    live it in or take it out? cruise control

    when i got my motor put in i found out the cruise control doesn't work, i thought to myself i dont use it anywayz so i should take it out like cpmikes bout how do i do dat? any help would be appreciated

    What engine do you have that it doesn't work? The H22 can work, but I believe you need something off of the preludes cc to do that.

    F22b, just take if off... I think. Haven't looked into the f22b, but I believe you can't use CC with the motor.

      to take cruise control out just disconnect the vacuum line and cap it off....disconnect the the cable fror the gas pedal that goes to the cruise control unit....then unbolt the cruise control unit and take it out.

          like 4 lbs. well not really, but if your doing it for weight savings on a DD, dont

                yea it weighs nothing...i took mine out just cause i didnt want it...frees up some room the the engine bay.

                    I pulled mine because it was always in the way. Brain box was in the way of the main relay, and the underhood crap was just annoying. The wire is still there, though. Never bothered taking that part off.


                    If you want to remove something, just unhook everything that's attached to it.


                    And yeah, CC stuff is less than 10lbs.

                      CC is just the contorl unit and the vacuum box not heavy at all and easy to remove.
