Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Sounds like you're "Granny shifting not double clutching like you should".

If the oil level is find and you said you performed bleeding then the next thing would be to take the tranny down and check the clutch out, it might be old or maybe you're beating on it.

The clutch is not hard to replace. You just need to pull the transmission off (need a ball joint puller). You'll need a torque wrench to properly install the new components (I would just get a clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate all at once... and use a HONDA throwout bearing, not the one that comes with the clutch... they're all trash, even the "good" ones)

It sounds to me like an issue with your hydraulic system though. Might be time to change out your slave and master cylinders.

And are you putting brake fluid in your clutch reservoir?

X2......I had the same problem. My clutch master and slave cylinders decided to take a dump at the same time. After replacing both, it was like giving my clutch viagra, good as new.

They make clutch fluid for a reason. I'm not sure what mixing it with brake fluid might have done, but chances are that totally screwed the seals in your master cylinder.

from my personal experience i am willing to bet that you bled the clutch system improperly, you dont bleed the clutch system the same way you bleed the brakes, mainly because the clutch system is not supported by a booster like the brake system. constant pressure is necessary to the clutch system so i am pretty sure you messed up and let the clutch slave cylinder lose all pressure.

                    try this.....

fill your clutch master cylinder with clutch or brake fluid (hydraulic fluid is hydraulic fluid) then open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and pry the slave cylinder open while the the cap of the master cylinder is off. do this a couple times, each time just crack the bleeder valve open a little to let air escape then close it up and try the clutch pedal if you dont feel comfortable doing this then get a professional to do it, its not hard, just hard to explain. if i showed you, you'd be like OHHH.... DUH! but anyway try this first before you result to spending hundreds of dollars in clutch replacement, it might just be master or slave cylinder to but either way you need to have the system bled properly....

nope. brake fuild is extremely strong and eats away anything in its path. clutch fluid isnt that strong.

Mixing different brake fluid types can destroy your brake system. If you put DOT3 and a real DOT4 or DOT5 in the same system, problems will occur. This may or may not be true when mixing it with clutch fluid. It might be fine, it might not be.

Did the clutch work fine one day, and then start acting up the next? If so, then something failed.
If you've done something with the hydraulic system recently, then Sean is probably 100% correct in saying the system isn't bled properly. A little air in the system will result in exactly what you're saying.

                            still puzzled!!!

say for example if i am bleeding it the wrong way,
then my clutch should be good to go "right".....so that should
rule out my clutch... so the problem should just be the pump...???

If the clutch was bad, the pedal would still respond normally. It's definitely a hydraulic problem. Bleed the system properly. If that doesn't work, replace the master and slave cylinders (the "pumps"). You should probably do that anyway. The hard part about changing those things is bleeding the system. If you're going to go through the hassle of bleeding, might as well do it with new parts that won't fail on you anytime soon.
