ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    H22 Swap

Sorry i have to post this here(not enought posts yet ) I am about to order the H22 from hmotorsonline. Ive been reading on the parts needed, and what can be used from my F22, and Im pretty sure I can get away with just ordering the motor. Not the complete changeover option they have listed. Can you guys think of anything i would be missing, other than having to use my f22 5speed. thanks

Try and get the h22 header and downpipe from hmotorsonline. Otherwise opt out to eBay for an eBay header/downpipe or an OEM replacement piece.

I just used my f22 clutch and throwout bearing, but yeah, ecu is definitely a good point. I believe its included with the engine though. Good call not to get the complete changeover.

Cool guys, thanks for the fast responses! Thats what I was thinking..save a little cash. So for sure the ECU? What I understood from the h22 guide was that mine will work, just wire in the new sensors and solenoids.

You need the ECU ... The engine only usually means engine, partial harness, sensors, injectors, fuel rail, etc and alt

                    haha cool.

Just take the swap slow. You'll drive it eventually, so don't worry about driving it one day or even one week earlier by rushing and accidentally overlooking something.

But then no one wants a lecture. So just have fun with it!

I did read about that manual tensioner. Not the changeover, just that it would be a good idea. I will for sure look into it. I have this weekend to make some more progresss, but yeah nextepisode ill take that advice and go slow. i appreciate it. Oh and I ordered the H22. Thanks, It may have been an all around better deal to get the whole setup if I needed all that other stuff but i dont. as you all know except for the ECU I can use all the stuff i have now. anyway, yeah 1200 for motor, 200 for ECU, 200 for shipping+tax. They want freakin 1500 for the motor only at the japenese exchange in salt lake city. I thought I did pretty good. thanks for the input tho
