Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    How does This affect smog?

    This is an awesome post. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how this affects getting it smogged. I would love to do this until I do an H swap but wondering if I should keep my stock parts for smog purposes?

      It should pass with no problems, all the parts you will be using are from the higher model CB's.

          Would a h22 head fit on my f22a1 block? would that be a good way to go if i wanted to get more power out my cb? also would the h23intake manifold still fit if i have the h22 head on there? would i have to change the ecu if i do these mods?

              putting a high revving head onto a block that should and doesnt see over 65ooRPMs wouldnt be smart. just dont do it. if you want more power than that then build the F22a or swap in a H series.

                you talking about HAP in Rancho Cordova near Sac? these guy are really expensive, they sometimes charge as much as brand new genuine Honda parts from the dealer for used parts. I would only go to them if it is my last resort.

                you should go to the pick and pull in Sac, or in Fairfield.

                    OBX Performance intake manifold?

                    Can you use a "OBX" H23A Honda Prelude Performance intake manifold? And Would it fit as easy as the stock h23a intake manifold swapping on the 93' accord. and last but not least, would it add performance?

                      man thanx alot for the info i was thinkin about savin up for a h22a swap but ima actually fix up my f22 first meanwhile savin up for the swap... not a bad idea rite?

                          i freaking hate that too i wish i could have a longer 5th gear kinda like they do on the b series tranny with the ls 5th...would anyone know which is the f/h tranny with the longest gear ratio??

                              oh...and instead of getting a cheapie ebay muffler and having a local shop make your piping....i would much rather just get a megan racing catback....i had one on my civic and it was nice ....the cb7 n/a type cat backs are 245.00 bux at www.lsdmotorsports.com and they got real good service.....i don't know if their headers would be better than the f22a4's but i had them too and they worked fine (no cheap welds)

                                damn thats what i got a h2u5 and its the same....4000 rpm's goin 80 on 5th....well,i guess those short gears'll come in handy if i ever plan to drag...lmao
