Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Spark Plugs

    I have previously written about this problem, although i was wondering if this could be a possibility, my car's engine has been stuttering when im at very low speed or at a stop point... my question is could it be that i need to change the spark plugs.... any advice will be really helpful

    Is your AC on whe it happens?? and does it happen evrytime you slow down or stop? Could be a dirty IAC Valve, If you havent done a tune up in the last 30 or sooner it is time cap rotor pugs Ohm out your wires and fuel filter. If i happens when your ac is on and not everytime you could have a bad Diode in your AC electical system

      would it be too difficult to take them out and examine the color and gap?

        I had the same problem. I'd sit still at a light, and it's miss every like..10 seconds. (mind it was at 1000rpms) Then, when I went to take off, it'd miss real bad. I just changed the spark plugs. It stopped the miss, and I changed the spark plug wires, and it sits at 800rpms perfectly now.

            Like said earlier if its been awhile just change the plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Mine kept shutting off when stopped and it ended up being a fried coil....

              My Honda is my Daily I race old school Cars I have a 81 TE71 Corolla which had a 3tc motor in it it was a Hemi Toyota motor with dual 44Mikunis and .510 lift cam which is where my screen name came from on all the forums i'm on it is the same I also have a 71 Datsun 510 that is getting resto right now and a 85 Toyota truck built 22r with dual 40 Webers and bagged on 18's
