ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

He must be driving an automatic if he doesn't know where the tach is. Either that, or learning to drive stick was quite a hassle!

True. I keep forgetting that was an option on many cars...

          But still. Blah.

          ALL CB7s have a tach.

Ya DX civics dont have a tach. It is the best way to learn manual.

Unless you have the radio on

Buy guys can we not turn this into a "lets racing" thread? I mean the guy pretty much is asking where the tachometer is, not what your opinions on racing.

And to the OP, its the Circle thing next to where your Speedometer is. It says 1,2,3,4,5..... and after 6 there is a red band that follows to the end. As stated above it says RPM around the area it says MPH on your speedo.

Hopefully stronger rods and rod bolts, and a full upgraded valvetrain... or LOTS of luck!

Any airflow mods also raise the peak power range (not applicable in this case, as the car is stock) A stock car, to land back in the power range, should shift near redline. Good for the engine? Not really. But racing never is.

And yes, street racing is ALWAYS illegal. And dangerous. There's a story in the beginner Off Topic section now where a CB7 was involved in a race with a Mustang. The Mustang hit a car, killing the driver and her two young children. The driver was killed instantly, the children burned to death. The Mustang driver survived. The CB7 driver ran, like a coward. I hope they catch him and put him in jail as a child killer.
Thanks for that info . I never heard that. See this is why I try my best not to street race. Ocassionall I may just open her up a lil', but not nothing major.
