Please help! I just lowered my car (coilovers & camber kit) but the back is making a horrible rattling noise. I can't figure out why. I don't think it's the axles but is there something I'm supposed to do/check? It sounds like the rear end of my car is about to fall off. I've checked in previous posts but no one seems to have this problem. Is it possible for me to have broken both back axles already?

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i dont think there is such a thing as back axles. The noise could be the upper contorl arm thing hitting against your quarter panel sidewall.

that rattling noise cold be a blown strut. i suggest you take the assembly that making that noise off and check the strut. if you can move that piston up and down freely then you have a blown strut. other than that make sure that all of the parts are together tightly. all bolts are put together right and in order.
and welcome

I hope you got performance shocks/struts, anything else would not handle the increased spring rates of the coilovers. Something like KYB AGX's or Koni or Tokico's. Oh be sure you got an alignment after you lowered it otherwise you'll EAT through tires.

Stock shocks, even new stock replacement, is a bad idea when lowering. You'll always get that guy saying "nuh-uh... I lowered my car last week on stock shocks and its fine!"... yeah, talk to me in a month.
Properly lowering a car is not as cheap as the idiots make it sound... and sadly, on these forums, the idiots have the loudest voice. You have a camber kit, so that already shows you have more sense than most... Get some decent shocks on that thing... at LEAST KYB GR2s or Tokico Blues.
