ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

They aren't very common, and probably quite expensive. I honestly don't even know who makes them. People would be all over an affordable setup, if someone would make them !

I know of a few people that have made them using motorcycle throttle bodies.

TWM and Toda/Jenvey make them. They're not really for DD's and they're extremely finicky.

As mentioned Toda and TWM. I forgot if Toda started one for an H since they specialize in the B and K series motors. TWM will run around 1100 as I recall.

expect to pay for a good tune as well if you plan on going with itb's

and to add itb's on a stock motor will not be of a great gain,

I always wondered what would happen if you encased ITBs in a plenum. Would that defeat the purpose?

well i think i could handle the tune, that would not be an issue.
it would also not be on a daily driver.
as far this working inside of a plenum it would work with the same principal of the Velocity stack intake manifolds i make. where over each runner i have a stack.
with the itb setup with a plenum it would be tricky because if the two runners on the end were to get leaned out of air and the tps was still showing a specific percent then those two cylinders could be toast really quick. it would take a hell of a design, but i guess that just means i have some work to do haha.

as far as price i would expect to pay about 1500 for one.

and i fit i was going to make one it would more than likely be about 3g+ on material, trial and error, and research, but you never know.

its been done before. BMW's would be an example of stock ones encased in a plenum.
