ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Touring suspension?

Hi Im going to be doing alot of traveling this spring. The conditions arnt that bad, but with a full car they can be.. mostly paved roads and id say maybe 10% dirt/gravel. There can be alot of agressive dips in the road at times.

What Im looking for is somthing that is a bit lowered, Stiff enough to have a full trunk of camping stuff and not sag the rear by much. but soft enough to handle bumpy roads. (but by soft, I mean stiffer then stock but not so stiff that the springs are gona break off the car.

    Setups Im looking at.

    KYB Gr-2 Gas Shocks

    B&G Springs ( sport) drop 1.6
    H&R Sport Springs

Im not sure if these will be to big of a drop..

    90 Accord EX

    wheels: 195/60/15

    THanks

just get a coilover with adjustable dampening... the you can control how stiff or soft it is and you could even make trunk stiff and front a bit softer. www.tein.com

get some tanabe gf210 springs with OE shocks. it rides real nice and body roll is reduced quite a bit at high speeds. i installed mine less than 2 weeks ago. i love how they feel, not too harsh cause there is alot of road construction going on around here. and it only has a 1.25 to 1.5 inch drop. it makes the car look level. and i dont think camber has been thrown off that much.havent had time to align it,but when its not too busy a work i'll get to it and tell you how much camber it puts in

X2....a mild drop with a good set of dampers will do the trick. Oh, if you can source a set of Suspensions Techniques Sway bars, all the better.

i always bought suspension parts off ebay...no problems with them.

if you are looking to load up the rear, you might want to run a stiffer spring back there. or upgrade to the AGX's so you can adjust the dampening. basically, sagging = bad.
