And Steve B, you are correct they are vendors...in the technical sense...but they are not endorsed by the manufacturers...they aren't authorized dealers. So there's no warranty...no guarantee. And no way to get your money back when you don't get your part or you get the wrong part or you get a broken part.

Kind of makes me think about starting an internet money handling business where I have both seller and buyer bank account access. I receive money from the buyer and give it to the seller and hold the seller responsible for all items sold. Then if said buyer believes he/she was sold the wrong item or an item in less than described condition I could mediate between buyer/seller until we reached a compromise. If the seller never sent the item I could demand proof of shipment and if not provided hit the seller with an equal amount to purchase price through their bank account to reward the buyer who was mistreated.Originally posted by bcjammerx

Good idea. I'll be the guinea pig. My old '90 Accord that I gave to my brother had Napa upper control arms put on 4 years ago (50K miles) and right now I have the engine out of it and will be replacing the lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends with eBay parts. The sway bar end links are Energy Suspension only because they were the cheapest on eBay and that seemed the logical decision. I'm an honest person and I will let this board know the first time something goes wrong. I will let you tell me that you told me so.
