Starter Problems/Car wont start

hey i have a problem. my starter died on me (had to hit it with a bat),so later on that week it wouldnt start even wit the bat. so me n my dad bought a starter. me and my friend replaced it and wen we try crankin it, it wont start, im getin a spark at my negative battery terminal. and wen my lightz are on i turn the key n the lightz turn off. also wen i put a screwdriver at the solonoid it sound like the starter turns lol. im so lost

sounds like there is a loose ground.
if they are all tight then check all of your main fuses.

probably a distributor problem.

mine i think it was a solenoid (i think thats whats its called)next to the distribtor. well buy one if it not it return it back.

also check your grounds seems like there's a short somewhere. hope this helps

thx alot. i think my batery fuse is blown lol. btw wut ground are there. the battery/starter/alternator. wut else?

try reseting ECU my dumb car needs to be reseted all the time now to start and idky. Disconnect the + or - cable of the battery for 3 seconds and connect it back. Make sure you ECU fuse is not blown too. Then try turning it on.

hmm ima try restarting the ecu but i left my lightz on doing some diagnotics lol dang
