ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

too much do it yourself if you can. 350 is actually about right considering you got the part. if you bought the part from them is could be more than that say $500. also depends what clutch, i am doing mine this weekend and my parts was $300 i went with a fidanza flywheel instead of resurfacing the stock one

if someone brought me the parts i wouldnt do it for under 250 and thats shadetreein it.... its not that hard to do honestly you should buy a book and do it yourself... iam sure you wont have a real lift so have someone there that can help set it back in once you replace it... if you take it to a shop i would say 400 easy

yeah, cam hit that one on the head. do it yourself if you can find any way possible the labor hours come out to around 3, at 70 bucks an hour, your looking at 300 just in labor. then the cost of the parts. also, if you do it yourself you know that your getting the proper throwout bearing, which as i know first hand can be a major PITA.

you should expect to pay 300 - 500 for the clutch and while your at it replace the slave and master cylinder too. trust me its worth it to do it all at once
from f22 to H22. still love the cb7.

i was told 400. basically 200 to take the tranny off and 200 to put it back. so 350 to me doesn't sound bad. but i ended up doing my tranny myself with a buddy.

It should be a three hour job.. So say 75/hr depending on your area. About 225 in labor
