ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Oil Pressure sensor is faulty. For the temp , check for leaks somewhere , even to the slightest leak it will go up.. Or could be yout temp sensor is faulty also. Also the thermostat.

Have you checked your oil lately?

Your oil pump may also be failing. Oil provides around 20% of your car's total cooling.

                oil is at normal level

maybe the pump is that costly?

okay i checked the coolant level in the radiator and it needed some...
but yeah i see the problem now
the coolant reservior is not passing the coolant through because you know
what the hose from the reservoir hooks up the radiator..near the cap

it's cracked and coolant spills out the little plastic thing

i think since it's not passing coolant it's using up alot of coolant in the radiator
and makes it overheat? an that's probaly why the oil light wanted to blink right?

                      opinions?

It might be coolant related. But that doesn't explain the oil pressure light.

You have to assume the light is working correctly until proven otherwise, otherwise you are probably going to lose the engine at some point.

yea it barely came on i mean wanted to come on but it faded away

                          and it wasn't steady though

but if i pressed the gas in neutral it went away

                          idk what's wrong with it

you should definetly get a new pressure sending unit. they are not that expensive. also check your thermostat for sticking that may cause the overheating at idle. those are fairly inexpensive too. if the pressure sending unit doesnt fix the oil light it may be the oil pump. not so cheap. always try the cheap and easy stuff first.
