ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Will the h22 throttle body work on the f22 vtec IM, also is the size of the bore larger than then f22 tb?

If it would work, can it be tappered bored larger than the f22 TB?

What is the bore size of the f22 TB?

You guys are faster than any search engine I know of!!

err i think the h23 is like 62mm and the f22 is like 58mm, but dont quote me on that.

Im actually about to port match the f22b1 plenum to the h23 throttle body, but i cant find a damn gasket at the auto store!

Well the reason I ask is that no one makes a TB for the F22 with like a 80mm, 90mm bore. If an h22,h23 TB will work on the F22b1 IM. Then I will just buy one made big enough. Got any recomendations

i believe a B series TB will bolt up to the b1 plenum too...i tried one in a shop that was sitting there, and i THINK it was a b series

Ok, I have found something that I might go with. 80mm bore by DH-Racing.

            http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...em200158170928

Since my charge pipe is only 2 1/2 inch. I am thinking of using my old 3'' CAI and getting a 90degree 3'' elbow, and matching it to the intercooler.

Since I am still running a f22b1 IM, but I have a h23 IM with everything for the swap. I have modified the intake flange, thermostat housing, and have the h22 fuel rail, h23 coolant pipe, I used a spare f22b1 motor to test it out on. Just havent ran it. My main concern is the port matching. My buddy modified the coolant passages in the IM to match f22b1 IM gasket. There was no way to relocate it on the head. Has anyone ever completed the swap on the f22b1?

            Anyone got one of these?

a local guy just swapped a h23 intake mani on his B1, and all he did was port match the intake manifold and didnt touch the head.

i just port matched my plenum today to fit the h23 TB, no big deal. I think i can still make my power goals on this B1 manifold

I guess that would be the easiest way to go about it. I assume that a machine shop could get that straight for me.

What are your power goals? Mine are 450whp. Eventually. So everything I have bought and will buy has to support that much. The IM, TB, and charge pipe I have now will not carry that power range.

yea thats what im building for...i'll settle for 425-450

before i bought this motor, the previous owner dyno'd at 420/390 at 22psi on a drag kit. with this GT30R im sure i can put out a little more, so the intake mani and TB dont concern me too much

true, same turbo that guy was on...mid sized t3t4

the only thing that concerns me is that the head porting is way thinner than the h23 manifold, and i have no idea what that will do to velocity and flow of the air being pushed in there...i dont think there is enough wall area to take off on the b1 head to perfectly match the h23 ports

                      maybe im wrong though
