ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

How to replace headlight control lever?

Hello I am new to the forum as I ahve just purchased a 1993 accord 5speed. I bought it as is and the lever to the left of the steering wheel that controls the headlights and turn signals is broken off almost completely. My question is how much is a new one and how hard will it be to replace it?

    Thanks for any help

they usally charged around 30 bucks at the junk yard i use to work at ... its called a combo switch you pull off the plastic covering it and pull your steering wheel off " if you have airbag disconnect the battery 1st take off the star head bolts on the back of the steering wheel releasing the airbag" if you dont have a airbag then just popout the H emblem in the middle of your steering wheel and take off the 19mm bolt.... hit the steeringwheel on the op while holding it from the bottom and pulling while hitting.... wheel comes off then you can unbolt the combo switch and pull it off the steering shaft... then you just gota put everything back on

With that process it seems real easy. Do you need a steering wheel puller?

As for the part: number 14 in the link below. At that price, I'd just but a new one.

no you dont have to have a puller thats what i was talking about when i said hit the top of the steering wheel with a blunt object while pulling on the steering wheel from the bottom couple of hits and it should break free and your not going to break your steering wheel by hittin it
