ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I had to do the same thing.

I took my car for a 30-40min drive to heat up the PS fluid and the lines gradually. Grabbed a welding glove and a long screwdriver/pry bar and slowly pushed the PS tube toward the valve cover. It doesn't have to go that far so there is no need to worry about it breaking. Just take your time

cool, ac pulley means you have ac, I hope you aren't using an underdrive pulley unless you plan on replacing your motor once a year. Found out after I bought my UR underdrive/crank pulley that they RUIN bottom end's of motors, regardless of being built when using ac.

ya i did ALOT of research before doing this mod. some underdrive crank pulleys have been known to crack oil pumps. after reading alot of threads i decided to go with aem their kits do not change harmonic balancer. yes ac = air con. it does rev out a little more now with the lighter pulley not too much difference

If the pulley is hitting the hard power steering line did you think about putting on a washer?

I was reading somewere that a guy is selling aem pulley kit for a prelude and he said the only thing you need is the washer. So i might assume same may be needed here.

I've been running my UR crank pulley for almost 4 years now with no problems whatsoever. I've put about 30,000 miles on the engine since the install.

from what i read its WAY more common when boosting

True. Turbo puts additional strain on EVERYTHING.

However, if you're boosting, the minimal horsepower gains pulleys give are useless anyway!

using ac a lot? I know some people have very different results at times, but I've heard of accords less than 70k miles going out in a matter of months, other times around a year or so and the bottom end goes out.
