ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

ya, taht map sensor is not needed on the throttle body. you just run a vaccum line from one of the nipples on the inake manifold to the map sensor that is located in the cnotrol box. i took the cover off of my control box so its a lot easier to get to. this was the least of my concerns though. me and a buddy torqued the head on a couple of nights ago, and the only thing i need to drop in this motor is a new clutch. im sad that i dont have it yet, but my buddy that works at auto zone is getting me a badass discount. hopefully everthing runs fine the first time, because i dont feel like ripping anything apart again. if i have to i have to, no big deal. im just hoping the clutch is the last thing i need. this is my first first first cb7 project. And im glad theres nothing extremely difficult to it. I need a CHERRY PICKER!!!! ahhhhh. anyone live close to madison, ohio?Fun with Paint... haha.

oh and another thing, i have a vtech head sitting in my garage now that i would like to get remachined. I have the ecu for it too. So im all set. It was the head that was on my car when i bought it and drove it home about a month ago, the only problem was that the car didnt idle past 2 grand, and it sounded like poo. I took that head off when i got it and checked the valve seats... which are crap. I plan on slappin this bad boy back on next spring. (get it remachined durring the winter, rebuild it around christmas in my room with my video camera taping the whole damn thing. haha, I cant wait.
BUT before the rebuilding of that head, i really really really, wanna be able to drive my car, soon.
I did so much work to that car while i was putting that head on, and only to find that there was still blowby, and it wasnt the head, (i took my time adjusting the valve lash. Bad compression rings as far as im concerned...
MY HIGHEST COMPRESSION TEST ONLY READ LIKE 89 PSI!!! i was so pissed.
So hopefully this b2 wont let me down.Fun with Paint... haha.

Luke do you even listen to me while i tell you shit?
You had a f22a1 in your car with f22b1 head.
you took off the b1 head and put on a f22a6 head
your bottom end was no good so you bought my b2
I took that POS b2 head off and put the a6 head on.
That IM I GAVE YOU is h23.
So you have a f22b2 block (big whoop same as A) with A6 head and h23 IM.
That TB is off of my buddy's JDM h22 that was out of a jdm accord.
It works the same just you hook hose #21 to the back of the IM.vouch for:924dr, sn2bh22cb7, soysaucecb7, ecto1, PRIMESNIPER,2.2litrebeater,turbowagon94, losiracer2,jacobuchanan140, tommi, dannyd

Will somebody tell him that the sohc b1 vtec head is a waste of time and there is very little hope for it. He rode in my buddy's prelude and I think he thinks that the vtec will be just like the h22's.
If i am right doesn't the f22a6 head make more power than the f22b1 sohc vtec?
Even if it don't there is no aftermarket IM for it. I had one ported with new valves and full head job and it still sucked because that IM is too restrictive. I also had a delta 272 in it. That head sucked and as far as I'm concerned f22b1 and 2 are a waste of good aluminum that could have been made into f22a heads and the IM is wasted aluminum that could be used to make h23 IMs.
Luke save your money and just buy a h22. After you get the sohc vtec head machined and up to a point where it can actually make decent power you could have bought a h22 motor, trans and ecu.
Look if you don't want my advice don't ask for it. And John says the same. I offer you help but I'm not helping if your not willing to listen. You want a fast car but you want to spend all your money in the wrong places. Look at all the help I'm giving you and not asking you for anything in return. Remember that before you go second guessing me.vouch for:924dr, sn2bh22cb7, soysaucecb7, ecto1, PRIMESNIPER,2.2litrebeater,turbowagon94, losiracer2,jacobuchanan140, tommi, dannyd

actually all stock the f22b1 makes 5 more HP. 145 compared to the 140 of the f22ax. but thats where it all stops once you get into porting, boltons, turbo. the f22a6 will show way more gains from these mods due to the fact its a MUCH better flowing head. i was just porting one the other day and that head sucks cuz you cant even port it very big.... DAMN water POrts!! yes agreed big waste of money ......if u want a b1 that bad you would need to turbo it
i thought he a had a f22a head??? h23 intake manifolds do not fit on f22bxLast edited by camdizawg; 09-20-2007, 12:46 PM.
