Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    this is from a post about a turbo i'm doing for a friend...now for what i know (friend)told me that the whole kit came with EVERYTHING...

    i get the kit today and this is what it has litterely
    1. t4 turbo
    2. intercooler
    3. pipes (that i don't have to take the a/c out)
    4. BOV
    5. waste gate
    6. this little blue thing (i think it's a boost controler)
    7. all the little hardware stuff all gaskets and stuff that i need

    now... i still need injectors, fuel pump, regulator, fuel rail for the regulator, i mean the car won't run @all w.o these things...

    i told him this, so he went and got a fuel pump but i told him i still need injectors am i wrong?

    oh and the computer a whole other story...i know ppl that can do a chip job for me so that's okay

    i mean should i do it even though it might not start? and after that i need to make a downpipe

    i want to do the job right should i get those things that i need 1st?

    oh not to mention that the shop owner said that that's all he needs and charged him $2500 for this kit and was charging him $3500 w/labor...

    It'll start. As soon as it sees boost it will go retarded tho.

    Depending on how much boost he's going to run, you CAN get away with stock injectors, but it's risking it. You will push the duty cycle on the stock injectors. Get some 450cc injectors.
