ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

all r12 fittings are the same so the kits they make are usually for a wide range of vehicles the only differences would be the angles of the fittings
        I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

??? Anyway I got mine from oreilly or autozone. IF you want to convert to 134A you have to change the reciever drier (cylindrical drier driver side). That is if everything was working properly before and the fittings. The fittings screw on BUT make sure you take off that schrader valve inside the stock r12 valve first. A lot of people making the mistake of screwing the fitting right on top of it and messing it all up. Anyway the 134a kit shouldnt cost much and a new reciever drier is like 50 or so from autozone and such. 134a is also cheaper in the long run.

            hey thanks man

me and my roomie looked at and we found the drier by the steering pump. but one thing, there is a round like thing that have a cable that leads to the firewall, and we could not figure out what it is. my old white car had that but my roomie's car did not. all three are 1991 lx's. hanyes manual does not show it whatsoever in the pics.

but it looks pretty easy changing out the drier. once again thanks!

the rock like thing, i believe you are talking about is part of the cruise control system, i may be wrong but its a vacum actuator. if your cruise don't work than you could just toss it or sell it. or just move it out of the way so you can access the drier.

now u mention it my cruise does not work, light comes on and everything. thing thing looks like a turbo sorta, but nto really. there is tubes leading to the intake manifold tho. but it looks easy taking it off two bolts the whole braket comes right off.

Yea thats your cruise control. Its two 10mm bolts and a cable that goes to the pedal. To get it off the firewall you just twist it and it should pop out.
