Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    cb7 exhaust like eg ?!?

    i got a quick exhaust question mine right now comes straight out i want it cocked up and pointing to the side like the eg's do but i dont have alot of room to work with can i get it thatway and how hard would it be ?
    we ride for riding we drive for the passion we dont have money other's do .. we do this for the love of our car's ... we are ...Barcode

      Ditto on the muff shop. My exhaust was dirt cheap, 75 bucks, with muffler, and 2.25 pipe from cat back....

      I knew the guy tho, and I bent all the pipe for him at his shop....

      still, you cant beat the price at a muff shop! those bolt on kits are way to expensive, and how good is a bolt on kit anyways?

        that's not an EG thing, that's a DSM thing.

        on the second gen eclipses, you HAD to run the canister mufflers that way because there was not enough room to bring them straight out.

        it's going to create a drag-point on your cb7.

            hopefully so they don't sound like dumbass ricers when they're talking about something, isn't that the point of knowing anything at all? why walk around with an empty head and big mouth?

            to each their own, but like it or not, it was an eclipse thing in the mid 90's

              haha i still remember my friend with a 2g talon. He had his exhaust tilted which was prob the first time or so I have seen it like that. Then when I went to japan it was everywhere lol supras, rx7 and all. It didnt catch up here until later.

                i would want mine angled too, for comestic reason, but not the wholly hell of slant like dsm's

                they literally have them bent at ALMOST a 45 degree angle or more

                  the first time i did an exhaust on a 2nd gen eclipse, it was the mid 90's and i gave the guy a generic price to install his canister muffler and DAMN, it comes out and a fucked up angle and HAS to sit that way. it wasn't the thing then, so i ran it by him, explained the situation and when it was all said and done, i was a bit embarrassed to leave it kicked out like that, but a few years later, it was simply how people did it.

                  weird how fads get started.
                  ....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

                    okay yes i didnt specify that it is a DSM thing but im seeing more and more civic's everyday with that style exhaust that's why i posted it like that
