Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    bull frog head

    i want to get a high performance head for my f22b1, bullfrog makes a head. i never heard of them. but it is reasonable anyone know anything about thses guys?

    Never heard of Bullfrog/Gude? Wow... They've been around for a long time, and have a good reputation for quality. I've heard that their customer service lacks considerably, and one guy on here managed to snap a camshaft (though it's hard to say who's fault that truly was)

    Now, they don't "make" the head... they just modify heads. You could send them yours, or you could buy one flat out that's had work done to it (and probably get a core charge until you return your old stock head). You could quite possibly save money by having a local shop do the work (I know there isn't much by you, but there HAS to be an automotive machine shop somewhere!)

    Also, http://explicitspeedperformance.net/ does headwork, and their prices are very reasonable. They're an approved merchant here on the board, so we stand behind their work!

      i heard of them just was not sure. ya they charge about $850 for the head itself and a $250 core charge unless you supply a head. i really thought i would be able to find a machine shop locally but every machine shop i call says they dont do it and that nobody on the island does.....thanx

        Really? Man... I couldn't imagine living on an island... I suppose there's a price to pay for paradise! I can walk to about 4 shops that would do custom work (not machine shops, but they would know where to send my stuff)

        If the Bullfrog head has everything, including a valvetrain, that's a decent deal. If it's just the machine work, and you have to provide the valvetrain, it's pretty steep.
