ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    More F22A1 problems...

    Alright guys...
    Car = Gen 4 Accord LX 2dr F22A1
Aftermarket parts= OBX Headers W/ Focus Exhaust Tip, AEM Short Ram Air Intake, Tail Lights

Ok we have done alot of work on this car (Timing Belts replacement, New Fuel Filter, New Spark plugs, New Distributer W/ Cap, New O2 Sensor, PCV Valve, Valve Cover Gasket) Not to mention the countless Hours of double checking our Timing and adjusting work.... Timing belt was Initaly installed by a Honda tech but the guy who previously owned it decided they didnt do a good enough job and wacked everything to hell....

Ok We can Gaurentee that the car in Perfect time.... Its been tripple checked and it Idles with minimal/no issues...
    Compression Test Results
    PSI 170 170 160 160
    Cylnder # 1 2 3 4

Ok thats the background... Here is my problem....
We will start up the car and its alittle rough (Doesnt catch the idle perfect... kinda fluctuates) for a few second then it will ease into the normal idle 1500 RPMs(Until the engine heats up and then it will be around 800RPMs). Ok My problem is... When it accelerates the Engine bogs down before acceleration and Occasionaly backfires(This is a large improvment from my last post on these forums, It used to not be able to get advance past 2000RPMs..). We have checked all vacumes for leakes and came up short....

Basicly when you accelerate it seems like its sucking TOO much air(Ive owned 3 Gen 4 Accords and none of them seemed to suck this much Air when it accelerates....). Also you can smell that the car is Running rich... How rich i dont know... But i have replaced the O2 sensor and even swaped the O2 senor with one that i know worked on another of my Gen 4s.... It still smelled like it was running rich....

I just basicly want to know what could be causeing this problem.... Any suggestions help and i appreciate it.. If there is any question feel free to ask...
    Wow... What a noob....

          That's actually very possible...

If it's not injector malfunction, it could be ignition related. I assume that by adjusting the timing, you made sure that the timing belt was properly lined up, all marks where they should be... and then adjusted the ignition timing with a timing light, right?
Is your distributor healthy? Did you replace the cap and rotor? Are your ignition wires in good shape (no slices, nothing frayed, clean connections)?

          Have you adjusted your valves?

Have you cleaned out your IACV and EGR?

If you've done everything I've mentioned, try replacing the injectors. Go to a junkyard and get a few replacements, and just keep swapping... see if it makes a difference. Injectors are pocket-sized

Just clean the EGR. That can cause stuttering in the lower rpm.
