ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

its not that hard, you have to be detailed oriented and have some money just in case somthing doesnt work out or somthing broke

like me, i cant for the life of me figure out how to get this dampener holder to attach to the firewall, i might just have to drill holes myself and run custom lines b/c of the factory pre-bent lines from the master cylinder to dampener wont fit either

Not to sound like a dick or anything but, have you tried searching? I know there was a thread that was exactly the same as this one just last week. Searching leads to more then 90% of your questions being answered.. Later

it's as much work as an engine swap because of all the under-dash stuff, which can be a pain in the ass.

i'd rather swap an engine than swap a tranny configuration.

Agreed. I've never put a 5 speed setup into a car, but I helped remove one... and the under-dash stuff is for the birds! It's not hard, but it's a pain in the ass. Lousy angles, tight spots...

i hate doing anything under the dash. the cheap screws that everyone uses are a pain in the ass (8mm or thinly cut for a phillips head), the plastic all has sharp edges, the wires are all in the way of anything, and shit falls in your eyes.

this is why i'm just going to buy another car this fall instead of fixing the heater core in the one i have. it is now the "not cold weather car"

follow the swap thread and it shouldn't be too hard. Like Slammed said deff take the seat out. Yeah workin under the dash sux but so does havin back pains from bending over the engine bay all day soo...

one hole should match and drill and tap the other two. the lines have to go into the brackets on the firewall. or just go braided.
