ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Electronic HELP!!!

ok, for some reason all of a sudden the radio doesnt work and the clock doesnt work and neither does the cigarette lighter thingy. My high-beams dont work either...http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/newthrea...wthread&f=107#

    RADIO:
the wires that come from inside the car that connect to my CD deck itself dont work. they won't send any power =/
so i connected it to another power source temporarily..

    CLOCK:
the clock doesnt work only when the key is either in the position where all the lights go on on the cluster or when the car is started. EVEN THEN, the clock only works when you keep the top right button pressed (on the clock)
AND once you let go of it, it resets to 1:00
    its annoying when you're driving...

    CIGARETTE LIGHTER:
now the cigarette lighter just doesnt work all together =/

    HIGH-BEAMS:
    again, this just doesnt work...
PLEASE! help me somebody...its very annoying =/

*the reason this is in this section is because apparently i can't start a new thread in the AUDIO/ELECTRONICS section....*

You've got an overload/short some where. Which fuses are blown? If any. If the problem aint obvious and you got a Multimeter( a good one) run a continuity test for each circuirt.

The cigarette lighter and the clock should run on the same circuit. check your fuse if those are good pull the lighter socket out and inspect they get corroded and could cause a bad connection. The stereo, again check your fuse I am not sure but this might be on the same circuit as the clock and lighter. As for the high beams it might be the switch but there should also be a relay for them as well. With electrical its one of those things that you dont really know what the problem is until you fix it. Alot of trial and error.
      I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

i checked all the fuses possible...the lighter isnt corroded, but good idea for the future.
what about relays...what are those for/can they be the problem?
if so...where can i find them.
        Thanks for help...

ok so when i first started cb7 tuner that was the very first thing that i might have posted. The best thing to do is go to a electrician shop and have them fix it. it cost like 100 bux for him to do that . other than that i have no other opinions on the matter since no one knows what to do about it

i'll try to find an electrician...except i wanna find a guy i can trust...i think i'm right in saying that we all hate the 'experts' that drain your wallet and u come to the conclusion that u should've bought that iPhone instead =)
also, do you think you can find the link of the thing you posted back in the day?

thanks to every1 for your posts...God bless.
and if any1's got any more ideas, i'd be more than glad to listen =)

to be honest if you wanna fix it yourself and not take it to someone so you know what went wrong and learn somethings about your car and not have to cut your wallet. take it slowly and go over onething at a time and be patient with it, i think i spelled patient wrong, anyway. get a wiring diagram of the car and go over it. thats what i would do anyway i love working on my own car. good luck
              Hey yo uhhhhhh fry man!!!!
