ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Help Me!!!

okay, so i got the dreaded seatbelt light blinking and beeping thing going on with my car so i took it to the honda dealership to get it fixed because some of you guys said that all seatbelt related issues are under lifetime warranty.....its not, so they told me what the issues could be, one being the door lock actuator, the other being the seatbelt ECM and they are both expensive as hell so i bought the actuator off ebay and am gonna do it myself which brings me tooo.........so
how in the hell do i take the circled dealy apart, its the arm off the actuator that threads directly into the outside door handle, any help would be MUCH MUCH appreciated, thanks

Yank it all and swap in some 92-93 belts

Then find the wire that goes to the seatbelt light and snip it. Do you really need your dashboard to tell you that you aren't wearing your seatbelt? That is the stupidest light ever.

i had a similar problem working on a friend's handle, what i did was i loosened the 3 screw bolts on the latch on the side of the door and let it hang inside so i had just enough slack to pop the handle out and spin that threaded bit out. also you will want to mark the thread or at least take note where you need to readjust later.
come to think of it, i slightly remeber getting it off, looking at it and laughing at how simple it could have been to get off if i could only see that other side.

it would be easier to pull the gauge cluster, remove that bulb and forget about it.

yeah, thats both easy and cheap, BUT my seatbelt stays in the forward position and wont retract, i have to do it manually and, its a bitch to do everytime i get out of the car. sooo i have got to get it fixed, i have figured out the actuator isn't the problem now, so i'm off to buy a newish seatbelt ecm. plus its not just the light that blinks the little speaker that beeps when you turn on the ignition beeps 24/7.
