F22a6 Head.

Will a f22a6 head bolt up to a f22a1 engine? Or is the head to powerful for the engine, I'm just asking because I'm a noob to this stuff. Thanks.

u dont need to swap the head to get f22a6 power...the difference with the f22a6 head is the cam....all u need is the f22a6 cam and the f22a6 dual runner intake manifold.and pt6 ecu.

x's 2. just got mine done last week. spent altogether at junkyard was about 16 for camshaft, 30 for intake manifold, and 25 for ecu from a member. so about 75 bucks total (after tax).

and if ur gonna do the intake mani ...if you can get an h23 plenum...thats a nice upgrade to do while ur at it

Well thanks for all that. I was just seeing if I could use any (F) cylinder head and bolt it up to any (F) engine. I was just asking if they were interchangable and if the A6 head was too powerful for an A1 engine. I guess I should've explained myself a little Better. But thanks anyways, I didn't know I could do that, maybe, I will just do that. lol :P So does anybody have a (F) working head they could sell me?
