Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

your issue is probably one of the drive shafts, I have the same problem, in the process of fixing right now.

there should be some play on the inner section of the drive shaft(s).

      solution: new drive shafts

hmm....well, what else can misalign once you have put some torque on it....

          1. transmission bearings?
          2. hub bearings?
          3. ...tires? I doubt it though.

          thats all i've got

The Mech...showed me that it looks like someone beat on the right side of tranny, write next to the half shaft and the oil seal for the half shaft is leaking because where the seal goes is damaged ...I guess maybe that might of hurt the tranny....

I hope changing the tranny will fix this problem...
I sure have alot of money tied up in this car....
While it has been in the shop they changed:
            left & right half shaft
control arms (upper and lower), and control arm bushings
            Motor mounts
            Struts
            balance tires
            new tie rod ends
            new rotors
            This comming week:
            tranny
            New flywheel
            cluch
            pressure plate
            throwout bearing..
            Change rear oil seal motor
What else could be changed ?? I thank Thats about it...
I really like this car...1990 accord coupe..
            hope the tranny fixes it

What kind of half shafts are you using? Are they remans or new? Remans are known for doing this kinda sh*t. Anyways, it looks to me that your differential might be the culprit. From what you said about the axle seal, everything points to there. That transaxle is no good man.

                transaxle thats in tranny right..???
I first used Orileys half shafts......Than This last Mech put in used half shafts
Honda ..still had shakes.....Is the transaxle on the right side of the trans ??
Do you thank hitting on the right side of tranny would damage the transaxle??
I had a mech here in town change the half shafts...the first time...thats when all this shaking started...I guess he damaged the tranny...dont now why he was beating on the tranny

I'd say so too. My guess is that he didn't really know what he was doing. BTW a transaxle is your tranny. Sorry bout that. Where the half shafts go into the tranny is the differential. On a FWD car the transmission and differential are one housing(one piece), thats why its called a transaxle.

Bad wheel balance will do that... Just because you had it done doesn't mean it's right!

It could be something in the transmission, but if it is, it's a problem I've never heard about.

                            Well where to start....

I have had this car for about 8 years...
The first thing i did was put a engine in..
than a tranny..because the tranny blew a hole in the top..
Then I put 4 new tires on car...I did not have any shaking then
When I noticed the half axle on the right side had torn boots..
I replaced them both...This when I started to have shaking problems
I took the car back to Hibdon's Tires to have them check the bal. again..
They rebalanced the tires ..Still the same...shake shake
Next I took the car to a mech here in my town he thought it was the half shaft on the right side..I had him replace the right half shaft again...
Still shake shake....Then he replaced the front struts still shake shake.. replaced the brake rotors, new brakes, new tie rod ends still shake shake..
I than took it back to Hibdons Tires again to have them check the tires for out of around...and they said the tires where alright..they again rebalanced the tires.. still shke shake....
So after this big ordeal I left the car alone for about 8 mo.

I than took the car to a place that specializes in Honda....
had him look at it...He rebalanced the tires again and put the tires that where on the front on the back ..replaced the motor mounts...Still shake shake
He than changed the half shaft on the right side again Still shake shake..
He than changed the control arms (upper and lower), and control arm bushings
                            Still shake shake...
He than recheck the balance and it was ok...stil shakes...

                            So whats left ????
All I can figure is the tranny differential

If his hubs were the culprit he would feel the shakin while he was coasting too and not just when he was accelrating. I really think his tranny is the problem.

it may seem like something very insignificant but may be over looked.. are you sure your rims are properly balanced on your new tires? Or are your rims bent from hitting a curb?
