i have a h22 swapped accord and will be boosting it later and doing some autocross and was wondering which mt would be the best and why keep in mind this is my dd so it has to be decently reliable... i have a 5 spd accord tranny that isnt original to the car in there now.

if you want good feel economy keep the one you have, for better performance get a h22 with LSD but it wont be as good on gas, compared to the f22 but it will be within a 1 to 5 mpg lost depending on how you drive. A good choice thats in the middle is the h23.

you already have a good tranny for boost since the gears are tall in the Accord trannies and are perfect for turbo. this tranny will allow the turbo to spool up more compared to the Prelude one.

and one more thing, the words reliability and boost shouldn't really be in the same sentence together. no matter how careful you are, theres always a higher chance that something will go wrong with a turbo. especially a H22.

i do want performance, and dont care if there is a slight dropoff in mpg. what will i need to change from the accord to h22 tranny? i can use the same clutch right?

If you want to auto cross on the weekend's but still have good highway drive ability your best best is either the h23 tranny, or the h22 tranny with the f22 final gear swap. Or go gearspeed custom gearing.

well i think my setup will be pretty reliable... i am building the block right and only going to run 8-10 lbs of boost until i have another car to drive if this one breaks down.
