ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

As for the flaws I'm talking about... the majority are internal. Weak ringlands, worn bearings, scored cylinders. Stuff that would eventually lead to engine failure in say, 50,000 miles, might come to light at 10,000 miles with a turbo. The only way is to replace EVERYTHING...
Do it carefully, tune VERY carefully, make sure there are no clear issues with the motor (any oil leaks should be a sign that turbo is a bad idea!) Be prepared for it to blow up. If it does, replace the motor and do it again! A turbo stock block CAN be reliable, but to assume it WILL be reliable is idiotic. Don't take anyone else's experiences as a sign of what you should expect. They're different people, with different parts, different habits, and different knowledge. One slight change and their experience has no bearing on what you're doing.

The 450cc dsm injectors will almost go right in, you have to cut a little of the rubber gasket ring away, not a big deal. Honestly man, save yourself some money and don't get that dsm manifold. dsm manifolds are perfect, just from the 2g turbo (94-99) the 1g (90-93) crack like hell, causing fuel cut, power loss...its just a pain in the ass. Now on the turbo you were looking at, its really just a 50/50 chance on the e-bay 16g. Some of my customers have used them without problems, and some have not seem 10 miles.
deevergote is absolutely correct. just because some of these other guys motors have held up just fine, that does not mean yours will. there are a few things you can do to check to make sure boosting will be an ok choice. do a compression test, that will see if the internal systems of the motor are up to par. if you are using a m/t then get a better clutch, the stock one will usually go out pretty quick. on a turbo'ed car its also good to do daily service and repairs if needed. check all of your fluids, top them off, every day if needed. check your plugs about every two weeks to see the condition of the combustion chamber, if your running too reach or too lean. of course a wideband will do that better but this will work on a budget. its always best to work smart and slow. research everything before trying it, it will save you $$$ along the way.

Thanks for the info, I had already got the manifold and it was cheap. I did not spend a arm and a leg on this. In your opinion which mani would you run with?Leaving the game!

Holy sh*t, you can go from 125-145 hp (depending on year and model) to 225-250hp with a 16g turbo?
