Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    what wrong with it

    I have a 91 Lx that I just changed the starter in. Heres my problem sometimes it wont start and I don't know why.I cleaned up the battery cables gave it two more grounds,engine to chassis and engine to firewall and still sometimes it wont start. The problems didn't start to happen until I installed my subs so I disconnected them and it still did the same thing. Ill give you a senario starting with it not well starting. At work it wont start. Ill turn the key and it will roll but wont fire. Sometimes if I take a piece of wire from the positive battery terminal to the starter soelinoid it will fire but not always. Sometimes Ill go to start it and it wont fire, go back a couple hours later and it will. So lets say I get it to start, it will start the rest of the day like if I go to my girls house and we leave it will start right up. From there to where ever we go it will start and start then when I go home and let it sit overnight when I go to work in the morning it will start but by lunch time it wont fire again. After I get it to start weather it be by the piece of wire to the starter or just wait it will start every time after that. What I deicided to do today was when I got to work to start it every two hours and it would start but that was such a pain in the ass. Any help in fixing this problem will be greatly appricieated and I'm sorry about the poor spelling and no puncutation but its 402 in the am and I'm tired. Any help would be great, thanxs tuners.

    Try your main relay, theres a diy, which involves soldering, which costs virtually nothing if you already have the stuff, or you can buy a new one from honda for $35.

      Main relay, igniter, ignition coil. Clean all corrosion off of your battery cables, and make sure they're tight.

      Sorry if I didn't read in detail, but it's 9:54am and I don't feel like reading a 10 line long run-on sentence. If you want help from people, please show them the proper respect by making what you say easy to read. You have 2 replies and 14 views... that means at least 12 other people didn't want to bother reading what you wrote.
