Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    maintence light?

    the box that says maintence required is red but not lit up. is it saposed to be like that?

    IT is to remind you of the car's maintennance interval its normal ,once it turns red it means you havent done the maintennance yet or forgot to reset it.. You can reset it by pushing its reset button on the dash.

      put your key in the lil button and just press in ... problem solved ... the thing looks like something broke but your key goes in there lol

        Just stick your key in the slot and push the button.

        Anyone know the milage intervals for when it turns yellow/red?

        My speedo/odometer haven't worked so mine never turns yellow now... (still trying to track down a local cheap speed sensor)

          not quiet sure but mine did it the other day and i have had my car since i have had my licenses and mine just did it about 6000 miles or so later it turned yellow ... a ball park figure

            I panicked when I first saw that thing Thought something was wrong. It's a counter. Counts to 7500 before it's red (turns orange along the way... 6000 maybe) I leave mine red, because I like it better than green It means nothing. Your car is old, so you shouldn't be changing the oil every 7500 miles anyway... it should be sooner than that. No more than 5000.

                haha i wasnt panicing i was just like WTF?! cuz i just got it back from car toys when it turned red. i ALWAYS wondered what that lil button was on the dash. i thought it was broken.
