Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Well here it is, its final im gonna order this muffler and silencer for my 90 ex tommorow.

    Dammm thats sheap carefull there... you know what they say "You get what you pay for"... I like the exhaust though

      I would be cautious of a 10 dollar Ebay muffler...you should not expect anything but increased NVH (Noice, Vibration, & Harshness)

      If I may suggest, try sourcing a large volume muffler from your local junk yard/used parts dealers...

      a used muffler might be equal price to a shipped Ebay muffler, but it will be much quieter and might even offer better performance.

        Well also, these used mufflers you speak of from the junkyard. Did you have to take them off yourself, or were they already taken off?

          Expect to fart alot with that cheap muffler. I would suggest getting a cat-back exhaust system.

            Those mufflers are fine for awhile they are just cheap chinese made mufflers. The packing or whatever deteriorates after a while and it's loud as hell. But you'll probably like it for a few thousand miles.

              BTW my little cousing has one onhis car that's how I know.

              Keep your stock resonator and cat and it won't be so bad.

                just be sure to keep your stock resinator and MAYBE get an aftermarket cat. but make sure the cat. is from a reputable site and not ebay.

                  NVH? Noise maybe... vibration and harshness have nothing to do with a muffler.


                  It's a cheapo muffler, and will probably be pretty loud... however, I don't imagine it'd be any worse than a $50 muffler... or even a $100 cheapo muffler. If you're going to get a low quality item, $10 is the way to go!

                      Haha, I hate to break up the topic, but instead of ordering THAT particular muffler I had went ahead and ordered an apexi N1 single... Might/might not work as good, but oh well. Oh yea it came with a silencer too and it cost 29.99... thanks for all the feedback and opinions though.. You all are kakkoii!!

                        Better choice on the muffler, but dont expect any power gains. Expect a whole lot more noise though..lol

                          There will be some gain in the high end, and some loss down low... the stock muffler is pretty restrictive.

                            Well. truth is I dont expect much gain yet till I get a new header and downpipe.... Not to mention my piston rings are crapped up..
