ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Brake lights

about a year ago i had to change my combination switch because my taillights was not working but my brake lights worked, now my taillights still work and my brake lights no longer work. Is it the combination switch again or do anyone know what can it be?

Is your bulbs fine, fuse blown, maybe some wiring in the tails messed up?

you should check your brake sensors on the tails for corroded or fried up harness. I would also do what xwade01 said.

on your left or right taillights. Pop yo trunk then check your harness and plugs for corrosion. I have the same crap as you then it turned out to be that my taillight harness was fried. If the harness are good and have no bad signs of whatsoever it would be your brake light sensors on the taillights.

just check the harness on the tails. The culprit might be there.

i checked for all of the above and my wires look like i just got the car brand new. Could it be the Brake Switch where the foot pedal is?

believe it or not it has been a few months and also since I gave up for a while I finally fixed the problem with my brake lights. it was so simple yet stupid. well it all started after changing my ignition switch, I had to remove my steering wheel which caused my srs light to come on which took away my horn and cruise control. well some how I don't know how but our brake lights are in someway connected with the horn. when I was diagnosing my car I never checked the horn fuse because I didn't have a horn anyway but that fuse it the reason I had no brake lights. it was that simple.
